Job summary

Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Registered Nursing Associate to join the Children’s Services team. The role offers opportunities across permanent and fixed-term contracts with full and part-time hours, and flexible working arrangements where possible.

The post requires current NMC registration, a passion for paediatric care and the ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, family-centred care for children and young people.

About The Role

As a Nursing Associate within Children's Services, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, holistic care to children and young people.

Working alongside nurses, doctors and the wider multidisciplinary team, you will:

• Deliver compassionate, family-centred care
• Monitor and assess patients using recognised paediatric assessment tools
• Support the safe administration and management of medicines within your scope of practiceMaintain accurate clinical records and documentation
• Promote safeguarding and advocate for children and young people
• Support healthcare support workers and students in their learning and development
• Help create a safe, welcoming and child-friendly environment for patients and families
