Medical Law Services (MLS) is seeking a Nurse Analyst to join our growing team. The role focuses on assessing merits of potential cases by reviewing medical records, identifying required documents, and delivering detailed opinions to support legal investigations.

The position offers hybrid working with both home-based and office collaboration. Ideal candidates will have NHS nursing experience, strong documentation skills, and a proactive, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years post-qualification NHS nursing experience.
• Experience with medical records and case assessment.
• Ability to produce high-quality documentation.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Familiarity with GDPR and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing medical records and related documentation for cases.
• Sorting and categorising medical records.
• Preparing Opinion of Merit (OOM) and chronology for investigations.
• Creating pagination in paperless format and using IT tools including AI tools.
• Conducting medico-legal research and understanding guidelines.
