Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) for a service in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. You will assess resident needs, administer medications, and maintain care plans with involvement from residents, families and healthcare professionals.

The role requires a valid NMC PIN and experience with learning disabilities; a permanent full-time contract with shift work and competitive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience working with learning disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' needs and identify priorities of care.

• Ensure care plans are completed with residents, relatives and other professionals.

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Registered Nurse to work in an exceptional service based in the Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

This service provides support for people with learning disabilities and complex needs who would benefit from living in a more peaceful setting

As a Nurse your key duties include:

• Accurately assess the needs of residents and identify priorities of care
• Administer all medication and treatments within the NMC guidelines and company's medication policy
• Ensure that residents care plans are completed and maintained in conjunction with residents, relatives and other health care professionals
• Report any ill-health amongst residents and make request for GP/professional visit where necessary

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Proven experience of working in a care setting
• Ability to show empathy, understanding and experience of the needs of the client group
• Well-developed time management and leadership skills
• Able to show a can-do attitude always

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse either RGN or RMN with a valid NMC Pin - Must have experience working with learning disabilities

The successful Nurse will be offered an excellent salary of £23.40 per hour and the annual salary is up to £58,406.40 per annum.
