Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a service in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. You will support residents with learning disabilities and complex needs in a calm setting, delivering person-centred care and working with a multidisciplinary team.

Role requires an RGN or RMN with a valid NMC pin and experience with learning disabilities. A competitive salary is offered with benefits and a permanent full-time contract.

Qualifications

• Qualified as a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid NMC Pin.
• Experience working with learning disabilities is required or strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' needs and identify priorities of care.
• Administer medications and treatments per NMC guidelines and policy.
• Maintain and update care plans with residents, relatives, and other healthcare professionals.
• Report ill-health and coordinate GP/professional visits when necessary.

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Registered Nurse to work in an exceptional service based in the Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

This service provides support for people with learning disabilities and complex needs who would benefit from living in a more peaceful setting

As a Nurse your key duties include:

• Accurately assess the needs of residents and identify priorities of care
• Administer all medication and treatments within the NMC guidelines and company's medication policy
• Ensure that residents care plans are completed and maintained in conjunction with residents, relatives and other health care professionals
• Report any ill-health amongst residents and make request for GP/professional visit where necessary

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Proven experience of working in a care setting
• Ability to show empathy, understanding and experience of the needs of the client group
• Well-developed time management and leadership skills
• Able to show a can-do attitude always

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse either RGN or RMN with a valid NMC Pin - Must have experience working with learning disabilities

The successful Nurse will be offered an excellent salary of £23.40 per hour and the annual salary is up to £58,406.40 per annum.
