A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Nurse to work in an exceptional care home based in the Bedford, Bedfordshire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading healthcare providers.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must be a qualified Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.

Key Responsibilities

1. Responsible for high standards of care by undertaking accurate assessment and planning of care, delivery, and ongoing evaluation of care plans, together with appropriate hand-over, to ensure all residents' needs are continuously met.
2. Act in line with NMC Code of Professional Conduct & maintain registration requirements.
3. Supervise and deploy staff within the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during duty and residents receive required care.
4. Undertake nursing tasks including medication distribution, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions.
5. Provide staff support, demonstration, and instruction of care activities, especially in relation to induction and mentoring of new staff.
6. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
7. Collaborate with health and social care professionals involved in residents' wellbeing to maintain a holistic care approach.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Good nursing experience
• Excellent clinical skills
• Ability to write care plans
• Empathy and warmth
• Competence in general nursing tasks such as PEG feeding, wound care, phlebotomy, etc.

Compensation and Benefits

The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £21.00 per hour, with an annual salary up to £48,048. We have vacancies for both day and night shifts. Benefits include:
