Job summary

St Joseph's Specialist Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to deliver targeted numeracy interventions at our Cranleigh campus. You will plan and deliver structured sessions, support students up to Functional Skills Level 2 and help them gain practical maths skills for daily life and independence.

We welcome applicants with a Mathematics degree, HLTA status or relevant experience, and strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Mathematics degree or equivalent knowledge/experience.
• Qualified HLTA status or suitable alternative for unqualified HLTA appointment.
• Ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly and tailor learning to different abilities.
• Confidently deliver structured numeracy sessions to individuals and groups up to Functional Skills Level 2.

Responsibilities
