Job summary

Droylsden Academy is seeking a dedicated HLTA to support Mathematics and Numeracy students. You will deliver targeted interventions, monitor progress and provide clear feedback to help learners catch up and access the full curriculum.

Working closely with the Learning Support and Mathematics teams, you will tutor individuals and small groups, including Year 7 and 8 catch-up cohorts, fostering confidence, resilience and high expectations.

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification or equivalent teaching assistant credentials.
• Experience delivering targeted interventions in Maths/Numeracy.
• Strong assessment and feedback skills to monitor progress.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted maths interventions to accelerate progress.
• Monitor student progress and provide evidence-based feedback.
• Tutor and supervise individuals and small groups including Year 7/8 catch-up groups.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and curriculum leaders to support learning.
