Job summary

Qualifications

• IWE certificate and MSc in Welding Engineering.
• Experience with FCAW and orbital TIG welding.
• Nuclear safety culture training is a plus.
• Mentoring developing engineers and coaching others.

Responsibilities

• Provide welding support across products and services in Nuclear sector.
• Review technical reports and supplier derogations related to welding.
• Assist with non-conformance and cost reduction activities related to materials.
• Develop and introduce new manufacturing technologies in welding.
• Maintain interfaces with other technical disciplines and projects.

Education

International Welding Engineer (IWE) certificate

MSc Welding Engineering

Nuclear Safety Culture training (preferable)

NS tagging (ITNS-I/ITNS-A) familiar (preferable)
