Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Welding Engineering, Metallurgy or related field.
• Experience in commercial technology and research environments.
• Experience developing and qualifying welding procedures and welders.
• Knowledge of relevant welding codes and standards (ASME/ISO/BS EN).

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and approve welding and materials joining procedures and specifications.
• Lead development and qualification of welding procedures and welders to applicable standards.
• Provide specialist technical advice across welding, brazing, soldering and additive manufacturing.
• Support product and process development from concept to implementation.
