ALTEN UK is seeking a Process Engineer to contribute to nuclear waste treatment projects in Bristol. You will support the development and optimisation of process systems, collaborating with mechanical, process and safety engineers to resolve technical issues in a highly regulated environment.

With 2+ years in process, chemical, or mechanical engineering, you will review designs, address open points, and ensure safety and quality throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in regulated industries with safety focus.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to support process design reviews and engineering assessments.
• Knowledge of waste treatment, processing equipment, and related plant systems.

Responsabilités

• Support development and delivery of process engineering solutions for solid waste treatment.
• Analyse design open points and propose practical, compliant solutions.
• Review process documentation and deliverables to meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with mechanical, process, and safety engineers for system integration.
• Participate in technical meetings and engage with stakeholders across teams.
• Ensure activities comply with regulatory, safety, and quality requirements.
