Job summary

Arabelle Solutions is seeking a Turbine Retrofit Concept Mechanical Design Engineer in the UK. You will develop 2D/3D concept designs for turbine retrofit components and perform mechanical sizing and analysis in a PLM environment.

Work with international teams to deliver feasible retrofit solutions during tender phases, ensure manufacturing feasibility, and comply with nuclear safety and EHS standards. A UK security clearance is required or supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree in a mechanical discipline.
• At least 3 years of mechanical design experience in the relevant industry.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes (welding, casting, forging, turning, milling).
• Proficient CAD skills with CATIA V5.
• Fluent professional English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Develop 2D and 3D retrofit concept designs using CATIA V5 in PLM.
• Perform sizing, design, and analysis of rotating and static turbine components.
• Produce drawings, reports and BOMs; prepare site data and measurements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in design reviews.
• Ensure compliance with nuclear safety rules, EHS and project budgets.
