NRL Group seeks an experienced Environmental Advisor for a major nuclear project based in Leiston, Suffolk. The role supports environmental compliance and sustainability across a large, complex construction environment, working with project teams, contractors and stakeholders to promote best practice throughout the lifecycle.

You will review EMPs/RAMS, provide clear guidance on permits and planning, and lead or support environmental investigations while driving improvements and addressing risks

Qualifikationen

• Experience in environmental management within fast-paced construction or industrial environments.
• Knowledge of UK environmental legislation relevant to construction projects.
• Familiarity with CDM Regulations and project environmental requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Aufgaben

• Carry out site inspections and identify good practice, deficiencies and non-compliances.
• Provide practical advice on environmental legislation, permits and planning constraints.
• Review EMPs, RAMS to ensure regulatory and project compliance.
• Support internal environmental audits and incident investigations as needed.
• Identify environmental risks and escalate significant issues appropriately.
• Promote positive environmental behaviours across construction teams.
