Job summary

Framatome UK is seeking a Safety Manager to maintain the technical authority for the SZC Project Technical Directorate. You will coordinate with Responsible Designers, the Client Organisation (SZC), and NS&E to secure replication studies and ensure safety requirements are clearly defined and delivered on time.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in regulated environments, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Background in nuclear safety generally on EPR or PWR designs.
• Experience in a highly regulated industry is preferred.
• Excellent communication at all levels and leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical authority of the SZC-TD project.
• Liaise with RD entities, SZC client, and NS&E to secure replication studies.
• Oversee change management and budget-aligned activities.
• Coordinate with NS&E Discipline Group Lead to define safety requirements.
• Ensure safety tasks are defined in yearly SZC Task Orders and delivered on time.
• Review NS&E Safety deliverables and approve as SQEP when needed.
• Present NS&E progress reports across project forums.
• Identify and manage project risks and opportunities related to safety.
