Job summary

Framatome UK is seeking a Project Manager to join the Project Management Operations Team in Avonmouth. You will ensure projects or work packages are planned and delivered in line with contractual obligations, maintaining safe, high-quality outcomes and strong client relationships.

The role requires experience in planning, budgeting, risk management, and leading multi-disciplinary teams across engineering, QSHE, and commercial functions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Project Management, Engineering or related discipline.
• APM PMQ or equivalent, working towards PPQ
• Member of a recognised project professional body (APM/ PMI)
• IOSH or NEBOSH Managing Safely (desirable)
• Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO) and IMS systems

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects/work packages are planned and delivered to meet contractual obligations and expectations.
• Develop, maintain and manage project plans, schedules, risk registers and budgets.
• Lead hazard identification and risk assessments relevant to project activities.
• Manage contracts and procurement processes to deliver objectives.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across engineering, QSHE, commercial, project controls and operations.
• Monitor project performance, report regularly, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide input on resource needs based on workload forecast.
• Conduct lessons learned and drive continuous improvement in delivery.
• Execute governance, quality assurance and change control processes.
• Promote safety culture and ongoing improvement of project outcomes.
• Deliver projects on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
