Job summary

Office for Nuclear Regulation in the UK seeks a Nuclear Safety Inspector within our LMFS portfolio. You will engage with licensees and stakeholders, apply LMFS knowledge, and mentor the next generation of inspectors.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent level in a related discipline.
• Chartered membership or demonstrated equivalent professional level.
• Understanding of how organisational factors affect nuclear safety.

Responsibilities

• Regulate construction of new nuclear build and decommissioning of legacy facilities.
• Assess safety submissions and manage intervention projects.
• Mentor and develop future inspectors; conduct investigations when required.
