Job summary

BMSL Group Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Nuclear Safety Culture & Regulatory Interface professional to join a major engineering programme. The role focuses on developing, embedding and continually improving Nuclear Safety Culture across the project and supply chain.

You will work with senior leaders, client stakeholders and regulators to ensure high standards of safety, compliance and organisational learning.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Quality or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of Nuclear Safety Principles.
• Experience engaging with regulators, notified bodies or client assurance functions.
• Ability to analyse culture and performance data and convert findings into meaningful improvement initiatives.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Ability to obtain BPSS security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Nuclear Safety Culture strategy across the organisation and supply chain.
• Promote Nuclear Safety Culture throughout the organisation and wider supply chain.
• Support leadership teams in demonstrating visible and effective Nuclear Safety leadership.
• Lead and participate in Nuclear Safety Culture communities of best practice.
• Foster a learning culture with continuous improvement and a questioning attitude.
• Act as a key interface between project teams, client representatives and regulators.
• Support regulatory visits, audits, reviews and intervention activities.
• Analyse culture and performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Promote human performance principles and leadership effectiveness.
• Collaborate with supply chain partners to implement Nuclear Safety Culture expectations.
