EDF Energy’s Nuclear Safety Group offers a 12‑month Industrial Placement at Torness Power Station in Scotland. You will gain hands‑on experience supporting safety case reviews, compliance assessments and safety initiatives that contribute to reliable generation.

You’ll learn from experts, develop core skills in nuclear safety, and gain a structured placement designed to help you build your career in the energy sector.

Qualifications

• On track to achieve, or having achieved, a 2:2 degree in maths, physics, or other science/engineering disciplines.
• Right to work in the UK is required.
• Security Vetting requires UK residency for at least three of the past five years.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operations of the Nuclear Safety Team.
• Contribute to safety case reviews and compliance assessments.
• Work on initiatives that ensure safe and reliable generation.
