EDF Energy invites applications for a 12-month Engineering Industrial Placement at Torness Power Station in Scotland. You’ll apply academic knowledge to real-world challenges in the energy sector, learning from experienced professionals on-site.

The role offers a starting salary of £26,050 per annum and opportunities to contribute to safety campaigns, radiation protection and condition monitoring across our operational sites.

Qualifications

• On track to achieve or have achieved a 2:2 undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Engineering.
• Right to work in the UK is required; sponsorship may be possible but priority to those with the right to work.
• Security Vetting criteria include UK residency for the past three of the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Apply academic knowledge to real-world challenges in the energy industry.
• Contribute to safety campaigns and radiation protection initiatives.
• Support condition monitoring programmes across operational sites.
