Job summary

EDF Energy is offering a 12‑month Energy Operations Industrial Placement at Torness Power Station in Scotland. You'll work at junior level with mentors, applying your science or engineering training to real projects across safety, radiation protection and condition monitoring.

The role provides hands‑on experience, exposure to nuclear operations, and the chance to build your professional network while pursuing a 2:2 degree.

Qualifications

• 2:2 undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Science or Engineering.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Security Vetting criteria including UK residency for at least three of the past five years.
• Eligibility for EDF recruitment process and stages.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in energy operations at Torness Power Station.
• Contribute to safety improvements, radiation protection and condition monitoring across operational sites.
• Work with mentors to apply academic knowledge to real-world challenges.
