Join us as a Nuclear Safety Engineer and play a vital role in assessing risks for our nuclear clients, helping to realize low-carbon energy ambitions and shape a better future for our planet and its people.
On a typical day, you might produce hazard assessments or author complex safety cases to support critical decision-making in the design, operation, or decommissioning of nuclear facilities. Alternatively, you could influence the client’s strategic direction to support obtaining a nuclear site license, network to develop the business pipeline, or deliver technical presentations to regulators.
This role offers opportunities to work with diverse clients across defence, nuclear generation, and new build projects, including innovative fusion and SMR markets. You will support project delivery, address complex technical problems, and present solutions to stakeholders. You will be driven to deliver excellent technical work with attention to detail and a strategic perspective.
You will have the chance to contribute to and learn from the wider technical community within AtkinsRéalis, leveraging our global expertise to foster collaboration. You will also begin mentoring junior engineers to support our growth, enhance project delivery, and develop your leadership skills.
