Frazer‑Nash Consultancy in Manchester is seeking a Reactor and Systems Performance Consultant to apply advanced analytical techniques and modelling to understand complex nuclear behaviours. You will contribute across the consultancy lifecycle, from technical analysis to client engagement and business development.

Qualifications

• Experience applying your technical discipline in the nuclear industry.
• Strong understanding of underlying physics and engineering principles.
• Degree in Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
• Ability to interpret, validate, and clearly explain complex modelling outputs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain models of nuclear plant systems using industry‑standard codes.
• Analyse plant performance under various operating scenarios to inform design decisions and safety cases.
• Provide clear interpretation of model results to clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
• Support model verification, validation, and best‑practice application.
• Communicate complex technical outputs clearly and concisely to clients and stakeholders.
