Job summary

Frazer-Nash Consultancy is seeking a Reactor and Systems Performance Consultant to shape critical decisions through advanced modelling across nuclear safety, design, and assurance. The role spans multiple projects, interfacing with clients and regulators while growing our capability in reactor performance analysis.

You will lead technical work, engage with clients, and mentor colleagues as part of a collaborative nuclear consultancy team within Frazer-Nash.

Qualifications

• Experience applying reactor and systems performance modelling in the nuclear industry.
• Ability to interpret, validate, and clearly explain complex modelling outputs.
• Strong communication skills for regulators, clients, and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining models of nuclear plant systems using industry-standard codes.
• Analysing plant performance under a wide range of operating scenarios to inform design decisions and nuclear safety cases.
• Providing authoritative interpretation of model results and underlying physical phenomena.
• Supporting model verification, validation, and best-practice application.
• Communicating complex technical outputs clearly to clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
