Job summary

Mace is seeking a QML-focused professional to join the Hinkley Point C programme. You will ensure supply-chain adherence to contracted quality assurance and quality control requirements, producing PQCPs and guiding CQAPs across multiple contracts.

You will lead LTQR reviews, coordinate with inspectors and internal teams, and drive continuous improvement in quality documentation and release processes at a major UK energy project.

Qualifications

• Experience in project delivery with strong focus on quality.
• Clear understanding of QA/QC in major projects across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction and commissioning.
• Able to communicate clearly and lead with practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing, accepting and monitoring CQAPs from the supply chain.
• Identify needs for supply chain audits and engage auditors to resolve findings.
• Produce PQCPs for each contract.
• Ensure deployment of quality contractual arrangements per PQCP including GQAS and inspection plans.
• Provide guidance on CQAPs, LTQR partitioning strategies and LTQR activities.
• Lead LTQR reviews and progressive LTQR provision strategies.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and inspection entities.
• Oversee manufacturing documentation reviews and inspections by contractors.
• Coordinate NNB review and acceptance of manufacturing documentation.
• Perform joint inspections when required.
• Support non-conformance resolution and corrective actions.
• Review end of manufacturing reports and end of construction/erection status reports.
• Deliver end of manufacturing records and quality release of equipment to HPC site.
• Produce quality documentation as required.
