Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Quality Engineer to support the SZC project, ensuring QA/QC adherence across the full lifecycle from design to installation. The role focuses on developing QA arrangements and ensuring supply-chain quality compliance within a large, contract-led programme.

Ideal candidates will have nuclear project experience, strong QA/QC knowledge, and the ability to communicate clearly with diverse teams and stakeholders. Hybrid work options and professional development are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in project delivery, preferably in nuclear power, with a strong focus on project quality.
• Solid understanding of QA and QC in major projects across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction and commissioning.
• Knowledge of quality management best practice for deployment by large, complex, contract-led organisations.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of quality (QA/QC) arrangements for deployment across SZC organisation.
• Prepare and maintain Project Quality Control Plans (PQCPs) for each contract/project.
• Produce and maintain quality-related documentation (e.g. procedures, specifications).
• Support the implementation of the Quality Execution Plan within the programme, including monitoring compliance and reporting on performance.
• Support the development and review of supplier quality requirements within ITT documentation.
• Assist in ensuring that quality management processes are correctly applied across the supply chain.
