Job summary

Morson Group is seeking a Nuclear Project Manager to lead a full-time on-site assignment at Dungeness for 18 months, inside IR35, four days per week. You will drive delivery within time, cost and quality targets, manage multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with Magnox processes and HSE/CDM duties, while exploring value engineering opportunities.

The role requires 10+ years in nuclear/highly regulated industry and experience delivering £10m+ projects, with familiarity of NEC 3/4

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ project management experience in nuclear/highly regulated industry.
• Experience delivering large construction projects (£10m+).
• Triple BAR certificate or willingness to obtain before starting.

Responsibilities

• Establishing vision and proactive management to align a team to goals and objectives.
• Lead the project to deliver safely, on time, within cost and quality targets, compliant with regulatory processes.
• Provide leadership and governance to meet stakeholder requirements and promote Magnox PM processes.
• Define baselines and operate project control processes (requirements capture, planning, cost, risk, trend analysis, change control).
• Resource and manage a multi-disciplinary project team with interfaces to secure specialist resources (safety, environmental, design).
• Ensure project documentation is maintained to required standards within the management system.
• Develop a project risks and opportunities plan and instigate mitigation measures.
• Consider options for value engineering and changes to scope/schedule/costings.
• Provide monthly progress data (CPI, SPI, EVA) to PM/Programme team.
• Lead CDM activities per Health, Safety and Environment Management process.
