Job summary

Technical Engineering Support (TES) is seeking a Senior Risk Analyst to act as a technical expert within the Integrated Project Controls (IPC) team for the Hinkley Point C nuclear project. You will oversee risk, drive governance, and guide Risk Analysts and Trainees across cost, schedule, and cost estimates with high-quality data.

The role requires leadership in a highly regulated mega-project environment and direct engagement with Program Directors and executive leadership to ensure safety,

Qualifications

• Education: Degree level or equivalent in Project Management, Project Controls, Engineering, or related field.
• Certifications: M_o_R Practitioner and/or APM Risk Level 2.
• Experience: Demonstrable expertise in risk management within complex project environments with cross-functional integration.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership & Team Guidance: Direct daily workloads, provide mentorship, and review work quality of Risk Analysts.
• Risk & Opportunity Management: Maintain risk data in dedicated software (e.g., ARM) and lead workshops with directors.
• Integrated Analysis: Connect risk data across cost, schedule, and change with project controls teams.
• QSRA & Reporting: Run quantitative assessments with Safran and present insights to executives; manage dashboards.
• Governance: Identify enhancements to risk procedures and protect Sensitive Nuclear Information.
