Job summary

Bilfinger UK is seeking a Progress Coordinator to oversee accurate capture, validation, and reporting of NSSS installation progress on the Hinkley Point C project. You will report to Planning and collaborate with Construction, QA/QC, and Project Controls to ensure robust data and timely insights.

The role requires strong attention to detail, experience in large-scale construction or regulated environments, and proficiency in Primavera P6 and Excel.

Qualifications

• Experience in project controls/planning on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
• Exposure to piping/mechanical installation works, including welding and NDT processes.
• Proven ability to track progress and report against programme, interfacing with construction and engineering teams.
• Ability to identify schedule risks and delays and communicate impacts clearly.
• Understanding of construction sequencing, site execution, and data capture discipline.
• Desirable: nuclear, oil & gas, or regulated sector experience and Primavera P6 expertise.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report NSSS piping and mechanical progress, ensuring verified completion and quality acceptance.
• Maintain alignment between site execution and Level 4 programme with Construction Supervisors and QA/QC.
• Identify deviations from the critical path and communicate quantified impacts and risks.
• Capture and record delays and changes to support planning recovery actions and commercial claims.
• Support integration of emergent works into baselines with minimal disruption to critical sequences.
• Provide regular progress reporting with narratives on variances per HPC governance.
