Job summary

Mott MacDonald is hiring a Project Controller to join the Energy Unit within the Nuclear, Defence and Civil division. The role focuses on cost control and project controls to support delivery of complex projects, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams in a safety-focused environment.

You will build cost schedules, perform EAC forecasts, produce progress reports, and work closely with project and engineering managers to ensure successful project delivery in the nuclear sector.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost/project control with detailed cost schedules.
• Clear communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Mentoring junior team members and supporting processes.
• Degree in mathematics or a science-related field; progress towards accreditation like ACostE.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver cost schedules from source data.
• Interpret stakeholder requirements and tailor cost information.
• Provide cost engineering support in change control, estimating, and planning.
• Analyze data to create EAC forecasts.
• Prepare progress reports including earned value analysis.
