Job summary

ASSYSTEM is seeking a Risk and Delivery PMO professional to support the Head of Delivery Risk within the Project Management Office, enhancing risk processes and assurance systems across multiple functions. You will deputise at executive risk reviews and lead risk activities across projects, driving continual improvement in risk management practices.

The role demands strong leadership, senior stakeholder engagement, and the ability to deliver large-scale QRAs including cost and schedule

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and team management across delivery risk functions.
• Ability to engage diverse teams across delivery life cycles and supply chains.
• Strong facilitation skills for workshops and governance meetings.
• Extensive experience delivering cost, schedule, and integrated QRAs.
• Experience applying risk management within project controls/finance interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Support the Risk Functional Lead in developing and maintaining Integrated Project Controls (Risk) processes.
• Deputise at key project meetings (e.g., Executive Risk Review, weekly Functional Leads/ Programme Controls Managers).
• Lead and provide risk management services to cross-project functions.
• Coordinate risk activities (EAC updates, ERR preparation, Integrated QRAs).
• Support progress reporting: monthly risk dashboards, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Contribute to industry knowledge sharing and deliver sector presentations.
