Job summary

Vulcain Engineering UK seeks a MEH Planner to join our PMO for pioneering nuclear projects in the UK. The role sits in the MEH Central Planning Team and collaborates with area management, delivery, and site teams to develop integrated schedules.

Responsibilities include creating and maintaining Primavera P6 schedules across MEH disciplines, producing reports, contributing to 16-week lookaheads and 4D planning, and aligning plans with WBS and approved methods.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in engineering or construction planning, especially on large MEH packages during construction.
• Industry exposure to Nuclear or other regulated heavy industries (Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Pharma).
• Knowledge of EPC project environments and integrated planning across full lifecycle.
• Expert knowledge of Primavera P6 schedule development and progress monitoring.
• Understanding of site safety culture and nuclear safety principles.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and maintain MEH construction schedules in Primavera P6.
• Update schedules reflecting progress within defined timeframes.
• Collaborate with site teams and contractors on lookaheads and 4D planning.
• Produce schedule reports and ensure alignment to WBS and forecast.
• Coordinate with controls and delivery teams to monitor performance.
