Job summary

EDF offers an Engineering Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship over four years, with the first two years at the National College for Nuclear in Somerset and years 3–4 at Torness nuclear power station. Starting salary is £17,606 per year, with a structured programme to gain recognised qualifications and practical experience.

Qualifications

Five GCSEs at Grade 4 or above (or equivalent), including Maths, English and two science or technical subjects.
Enthusiastic individuals with an interest in engineering, a willingness to learn and a positive attitude towards developing new skills.

Responsibilities

Specialist training in maintenance and operations within the nuclear industry.
Support and guidance from experienced mentors and engineering teams.
