Job summary

EDF Group is offering an Engineering Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship in the UK. You will study at the National College for Nuclear in Somerset for two years, gaining a BTEC Level 3, then complete years 3 and 4 at Hartlepool nuclear power station.

Starting salary is £17,606 per year, with a clear pathway into skilled engineering roles and future career progression. This four-year programme is designed to build practical maintenance skills in mechanical, electrical and instrumentation

Qualifications

• Five GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, including Maths, English and two science or technical subjects.
• Interest in engineering with a willingness to learn.
• Security Vetting: UK resident for at least three of the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Specialist training in maintenance and operations within the nuclear industry.
• Support and guidance from experienced mentors and engineering teams.
