Job summary

Mirion Technologies is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our UK team at Harwell. You will install, calibrate, test and repair nuclear measurement systems on customer sites, providing on-site and remote technical support and ensuring safety and performance standards.

You will work hands-on, travel within the UK with occasional international assignments, and collaborate with UK and international service teams. A solid electronics background and good English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• ONC in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills are required.
• Good interpersonal, organisational and communication skills in English are essential.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, calibrate, test and repair nuclear measurement systems.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers across the UK, with occasional international travel.
• Troubleshoot systems, diagnose faults and implement effective technical solutions.
• Complete routine testing and calibration in line with procedures and standards.
• Maintain accurate service documentation in accordance with QHSE requirements.
• Collaborate with UK and international service teams and represent Mirion professionally.
