Job summary

Our Client is seeking an experienced HVAC Site Engineer to join a major nuclear project in Bridgwater. You will coordinate HVAC activities, acting as a bridge between design, manufacturing and installation teams to resolve site challenges and drive progress while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will review commissioning procedures, support RFIs and NCRs, and engage with contractors and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery on nationally significant infrastructure.

Qualifications

• HVAC systems knowledge within nuclear environments.
• Background in HVAC engineering, commissioning or project engineering.
• Experience with complex multi-disciplinary projects and site installation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate HVAC activities across site and project teams.
• Assess site requests and provide technical solutions.
• Support RFIs, FCRs and NCRs resolution.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer between engineering and construction teams.
• Monitor installation activities and identify risks.
• Review commissioning procedures and test sheets.
• Support construction, commissioning and validation activities.
• Engage with contractors to ensure project progress.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and technical standards.
• Contribute to planning and successful project delivery.
