Assystem GmbH is seeking a Junior HVAC Engineer for a site-based role in Bridgwater. The position involves supporting the delivery of HVAC systems in a major nuclear construction programme, offering hands-on experience in a regulated environment.

You will be responsible for resolving on-site technical challenges and ensuring that installation activities progress safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Support HVAC installation works in line with engineering drawings and specifications.
• Assist in responding to technical queries raised by construction teams.
• Review field change requests and non‑conformance reports for clarity and accuracy.
• Liaise with design and engineering teams to resolve site issues.
• Help track engineering issues and contribute to performance reporting.
• Identify and escape installation or documentation non‑conformances.
• Maintain clear communication between site teams and engineering stakeholders.
• Support consistent application of approved engineering solutions on site.

Job description

This is a site-based role, though candidates must be within commutable distance of Bridgwater or open to relocating, with support available for the right individual.
