A global engineering and technology consultancy is seeking an HVAC Engineer to support their Nuclear Sector activities. This role involves delivering HVAC design solutions that ensure safe air conditions in nuclear facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing HVAC systems, strong collaboration skills, and a degree in engineering. Responsibilities
Support delivery of HVAC system design solutions for nuclear facilities
Produce and check technical deliverables for nuclear ventilation and air conditioning systems
Develop systems providing particulate abatement prior to discharge to atmosphere
Design air conditioning and cooling systems for temperature‑controlled environments
Collaborate with cross‑disciplinary teams to ensure system integration and performance
Produce HVAC design deliverables through Concept and Detailed Design phases
Generate technical reports, calculations, and drawings supporting system design
Act as an HVAC subject matter expert during supplier and stakeholder engagement
Present design maturity and technical solutions at design reviews
Skills
Knowledge of systems engineering principles applied to HVAC systems
Experience developing HVAC designs from concept through detailed definition
Ability to perform trade‑off studies to achieve optimal design solutions
Experience writing and checking HVAC technical documentation
Strong collaboration skills across multi‑disciplinary engineering teams
Ability to plan work, manage time, and elevate technical risks appropriately
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering
