Job summary

NUVIA UK is hiring a Senior HVAC Building Services Engineer in Warrington. The role focuses on defining work scope for safe, on-time delivery and compliance with technical specifications, with leadership across design teams and contractor management.

The position requires degree-level engineering, chartership progress, and a track record in building services design for safety-critical projects in regulated sectors such as nuclear or defence.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in a technical/engineering discipline.
• Chartered status or working toward Chartered Engineer.
• Experience leading design teams on building services projects.
• Experience delivering safety-critical design in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs and documentation to meet the technical specification.
• Produce design deliverables throughout the design process.
• Check/approve discipline design deliverables.
• Contribute to design reviews and safety reviews.
• Ensure timely, quality design documentation throughout all design phases.
• Ensure compliance with safety legislation, industry codes and standards.
• Develop cost effective technical solutions; staff development.
• Manage safety culture and contractors; provide technical consultancy.
• Support site surveys, installation and commissioning.
