Job summary

NRL is seeking a Health, Safety & Environment Advisor to join our client on a hybrid basis from Warrington, Bristol, Leicester, or Newbury. The role focuses on maintaining robust HSE arrangements, regulatory compliance and risk-based improvements across complex engineering projects in a regulated nuclear environment.

You will deliver safety training, support incident investigations and collaborate with stakeholders to drive continuous environmental performance, with SC security and potential DV

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate is required.
• Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and standards.
• Experience conducting risk assessments and implementing controls.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Support management in maintaining HSE arrangements.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and internal policies.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies across operations.
• Conduct risk assessments and integrate HSE into projects.
• Deliver safety training to employees and contractors.
