Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear is seeking a Principal Safety Case Consultant to drive safety case strategy across major projects. Based at one of our key locations (Warrington, Leicester, Newbury or Bristol) with hybrid working, you will manage engineering and technical activities and deliver robust safety cases throughout the project lifecycle.

You will provide safety input across design development, facilitate HAZID/HAZOP, lead radiological safety assessments, and mentor Safety Case teams while ensuring

Qualifications

• Engineering or science degree in a relevant discipline.
• Significant demonstrable experience in safety case activities.
• Chartered status or working toward it.

Responsibilities

• Provide nuclear safety input across all stages of the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate HAZID/HAZOP studies and develop hazard management strategies.
• Lead production of radiological safety assessments and safety reports (PSRs/PCSRs).
• Offer technical leadership on safety case strategy and regulatory compliance.
• Manage safety case delivery teams and oversee supply chain progress.
