Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Wimborne is seeking a Project Manager to lead engineering development projects across the Neutron Monitoring product line for the nuclear industry. You will oversee planning, scheduling, customer engagement and financial ownership to ensure successful project execution from inception to delivery.

The role focuses on delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards, with responsibilities spanning PM plans, WBS, risk management and cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

• Security contractual compliance will require incumbents must be a sole British National.
• Holds Project Management qualification (PMI, APM or global equivalent).
• Desirable for education of Bachelor’s degree level.
• An action-oriented person who drives results with strong customer focus.
• Strong communicator with excellent leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute projects throughout the project life cycle within defined time, budget and quality objectives.
• Create and maintain Project Management Plans, ensuring timely deliverables.
• Create and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
• Identify stakeholders and create Communications Plans.
• Develop strategies for engaging stakeholders in decision and execution.
• Manage and control costs as per the project budget.
• Report and present project KPIs to Senior Management.
• Manage project scope and conduct integrated change control.
• Facilitate communications between Sales, Engineering and Manufacturing.
• Acquire, develop and manage project team resources.
• Mentor others in the organization.
• Manage external-facing customer relationships.
• Support Procurement to establish and maintain supplier relationships.
• Conduct risk management planning and response planning.
• Maintain project records per PM processes and company policies.
• Deliver projects in line with contracts and quality requirements.
• Own tactical/operational plans for the programs.
• Recommend strategies impacting mid-long term business achievements.
• Provide bid-work support where necessary.
