Job summary

Assystem, a top three nuclear engineering firm, seeks a strategic leader to deliver major engineering programmes across the nuclear lifecycle. You will lead multi-disciplinary bids, drive governance and SQEP competence, and represent the company in joint ventures and client teams.

The role requires senior stakeholder engagement, capability development, and a proven track record delivering complex, regulated projects.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in nuclear engineering projects.
• Experience in regulated environments and governance.
• Degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in performance management and people development.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic engineering bids and multi-disciplinary project delivery.
• Manage capability development across engineering and technical disciplines.
• Drive governance, quality compliance and SQEP competence.
• Represent Assystem in joint ventures and integrated client teams.
• Shape pursuit strategies and oversee programme delivery outcomes.
• Build trusted client relationships and influence senior decision‑makers.
• Support project compliance.
