Job summary

Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick is seeking a Head of Electrical Programme Delivery to lead end-to-end delivery of a major Electrical programme within a highly regulated environment. The role requires steering engineering, procurement, fabrication and installation, with accountability for cost, schedule and safety outcomes.

You will manage a senior team, champion governance, and collaborate across engineering, commercial, project controls, quality, legal and supply chain to deliver value on a landmark

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading large, complex programmes within major infrastructure environments.
• Experience delivering within highly regulated and safety-critical sectors.
• Extensive EPCC delivery experience with complex supply chains.
• Experience managing large teams of senior programme professionals.
• Strong commercial awareness with cost, risk and change management at scale.
• Ability to influence at senior leadership and executive level.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts.
• Able to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of the Electrical programme across engineering, procurement, fabrication and installation.
• Build, lead and develop a high-performing team of Senior Project Managers and programme professionals.
• Define and implement programme execution strategies, governance arrangements and delivery plans.
• Drive performance across safety, quality, schedule and cost objectives.
• Foster a collaborative culture across multidisciplinary teams and alliance partners.
• Manage supplier relationships and act as a senior escalation point for outcomes.
• Identify opportunities for innovation, efficiency and next-of-a-kind improvements.
• Resolve programme interfaces, risks and delivery challenges across complex workstreams.
• Lead governance reviews and provide regular performance reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Build relationships across Sizewell C, alliance partners and external organisations.
