On-Site Planner – Primavera Expert for Nuclear Projects

Matchtech Group seeks a Site Planner to work full-time on-site at Hinkley Point C. The role focuses on developing, maintaining, and monitoring contract schedules for nuclear construction scopes, using Primavera P6 to keep projects on budget and on target duration.

You will report progress to management and client teams and manage critical path logic and emergent site works. Candidate must have Primavera P6 proficiency and strong Excel skills, plus planning experience in heavy industries.

Formación

• Proven expertise in Primavera P6 and advanced Microsoft Excel for schedule generation, tracking, and reporting.
• Experience as a Planning Engineer or Assistant Planner within heavy industries (Petrochemical, Power, Nuclear).
• Strong understanding of engineering interfaces, construction sequencing, and impact on site safety, quality, and commercial targets.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills to interface with delivery teams and client stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Produce detailed project schedules and baselines from scope documentation; allocate estimated costs to activities.
• Continuously update and monitor programmes; perform Earned Value Analysis to track progress.
• Identify critical path deviations and bottlenecks; communicate risks to management for corrective action.
• Incorporate variations and emergent scope into baselines; adjust schedules accordingly.
• Develop resource histograms and generate progress reports highlighting delays and mitigation actions.
