Job summary

PWE Recruitment Group is seeking a Construction Delivery Manager for a major nuclear programme at Hinkley Point C. This on-site role involves coordinating contractors, leading multidisciplinary teams and ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery of complex construction works.

Ideal candidates will have demonstrable construction delivery experience, strong sequencing knowledge, and a solid understanding of CDM regulations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in construction delivery and project environments.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, recovery planning and resource allocation.
• Good understanding of CDM Regulations and construction safety responsibilities.
• Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to produce clear, concise and meaningful reports.
• Qualification in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Construction Management.
• SMSTS or IOSH qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support contract partners in the safe and efficient delivery of construction work packages.
• Monitor site activities, construction sequencing, progress and emerging delivery risks.
• Coordinate with H&S, project controls, logistics, commercial and wider construction teams.
• Identify safety and quality concerns and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
• Undertake safety and assurance inspections to support project performance requirements.
• Contribute to daily construction reporting and significant risks or issues.
• Attend contractor planning meetings and ensure key actions and outputs are communicated.

CONSTRUCTION DELIVERY MANAGER - NUCLEAR ENERGY - HINKLEY POINT C

Help deliver one of the UK's most significant nuclear infrastructure projects and play a key role in driving safe, high-quality construction delivery.

We are looking for an experienced Construction Delivery Manager to join a major nuclear programme at Hinkley Point C, working five days per week on site. You will support the successful delivery of complex construction works, coordinating contractors and multidisciplinary teams while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support contract partners in the safe and efficient delivery of construction work packages.
• Monitor site activities, construction sequencing, progress and emerging delivery risks.
• Coordinate with H&S, project controls, logistics, commercial and wider construction teams.
• Identify safety and quality concerns and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
