Job summary

Great British Nuclear is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead the procurement and commercial strategy for civils engineering and construction within the SMR programme. You will manage complex, high-value contracts (£20m+), oversee multiple procurements and drive commercial activity across the team.

The role requires extensive experience in nuclear/construction programmes, proven ability to work with finance, legal and technical colleagues, and a track record of delivering robust business cases

Qualifications

• Nuclear/construction/engineering experience in critical infrastructure programmes.
• Experience delivering commercial and procurement activity with NEC contracts.
• Experience in government processes (CAB, CO, HMT) and public sector governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement and commercial activity across the full lifecycle (strategy, tender, contract award, supplier mobilisation).
• Shape packaging, sourcing and commercial strategies, including pricing models and performance incentives.
• Oversee ITT development, pricing models, negotiation plans and contract documentation.
