Job summary

Babcock International Group invites applicants for a Civil and Structural Engineering Undergraduate Placement Year in Warrington. You will join the Cavendish Nuclear business and contribute to safe, secure, and sustainable nuclear projects across decommissioning, new builds, and power/defense sites.

You’ll work on live projects in a multidisciplinary team, performing calculations, supporting safety evaluations, and involved in planning and stakeholder meetings. Set for September 2027 start.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Coastal or Structural engineering or a related field.
• Security clearance requirements (BPSS and SC) may apply.
• Placement duration and live project exposure during the year.

Responsibilities

• Join Cavendish Nuclear for a Civil and Structural Engineering Placement Year.
• Work on live projects in a multidisciplinary team.
