Job summary

Babcock invites applications for a Civil and Structural Engineering Undergraduate Placement Year in Warrington. You will join Cavendish Nuclear and contribute to safe, secure, and sustainable nuclear solutions.

Work on live projects, perform calculations, and support design and assessment activities on-site or from offices. Applicants should be working towards relevant civil/structural engineering degrees and be eligible for BPSS/SC clearance.

Qualifications

• Working towards a degree in Civil/Coastal Engineering, Civil/Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Material Science and Metallurgy, or related Engineering with Civil content.
• Security clearance eligibility: BPSS and SC clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Work on live projects as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to technical assessments and calculations.
• Support safety evaluations and project planning.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings and site/office work.
