Babcock International Group is offering a Chemical and Process Engineering Placement Year in Warrington (also Bristol). You will join Cavendish Nuclear to contribute to safe, secure, and sustainable nuclear solutions supporting the UK’s clean energy future, by working on multiple projects across new build, waste management and lifecycle programs.

You'll gain hands-on experience on live projects, perform engineering calculations, develop mass and heat balances, create process models, and use

Qualifications

• Working towards a degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Security clearance may be required (BPSS/SC checks).

Responsibilities

• Join Cavendish Nuclear on a Chemical and Process Engineering Placement Year.
• Contribute to safe, secure and sustainable nuclear solutions across projects.
• Perform technical assessments, analyses and present findings to teams and stakeholders.
• Carry out engineering calculations, mass/heat balances, process models and 3D layouts.
