Job summary

Costain Group plc is seeking a CE&I Responsible Engineer to lead the CE&I design and engineering for a major nuclear programme. You will oversee CE&I designers, external consultants, and contractors to ensure timely, within-budget, and technically compliant delivery.

The role emphasises safety, sustainability, and adherence to design governance. The position is hybrid and based in the UK, with security clearance support provided.

Qualifications

• Experience leading CE&I design teams and external partners.
• Understanding of design management plans and governance.
• Experience with regulated industry standards and UK legislation.

Responsibilities

• Lead CE&I design management for the Programme.
• Ensure on-time, on-budge delivery of CE&I design works.
• Maintain safe-by-design and carbon minimisation principles.
