TeacherActive is collaborating with a well-established mainstream secondary school in Caerphilly, Wales, seeking an NQT/ECT Maths Teacher on a long-term basis until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate.

The role involves delivering Maths lessons to KS3/KS4 and supporting GCSE preparation, with a chance to gain valuable experience in a supportive environment. NQTs and ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• QTS specialising in Maths required.
• NQTs/ECTs encouraged to apply.
• Experience teaching Maths in secondary settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Support pupils in preparing for GCSE Maths examinations.
• Plan and deliver well-structured, stimulating lessons.
• Implement the schools schemes of learning consistently and effectively.
• Develop strong classroom and behaviour management skills with support from experienced colleagues.
